Ace Cars Bow Ltd acknowledges and confirms that any booking made enters as principal into a contractual obligation with the passenger to provide the journey which is subject of the booking.

Booking – The agreement for the provision of a Private Hire (Minicab) service in accordance with these Terms & Conditions between Ace Cars Bow Ltd and the Customer.
Job – A journey, which is ongoing or completed as directed on the booking.
Company – The Company is a Taxi & Private Hire (TPH) licenced Private Hire Operator – Ace Cars Bow Ltd, Company Registration Number: 13665869, TPH Operators Licence number: 010414, Registered operating address: 503 Roman Road, Bow London E3 5LX
Driver – The licensed Private Hire (Minicab) driver who is driving the vehicle.
Vehicle – TPH approved and licensed Private Hire Vehicle that is driven by the “Driver” for the purpose of completing the “Booking”.
Customer – The person or people who are either making the Booking or travelling in the Vehicle and are responsible for making the payment.
Pick Up Date – The date the customer requires the minicab to pick them up.
Pick Up Time – The time the customer requires the minicab to pick them up.
Contact Details – The contact details of the person travelling in the vehicle and/or the person who is booking the job.
Pick Up Point – The address or geographical location that the customer requires to be picked up from. Numerous pick-up points can be indicated if there are multiple passengers to collect.
Drop Off Point – The address or geographical location that the customer would like the service to end. Numerous locations are possible if there are multiple passengers. If not indicated in advance the last passenger will be responsible for the payment.
Quotation – The cost of the booking to be paid to the driver based on the information given at the time of making the booking. The quotation can be different from the final price, if there are changes to the booking thereafter.
Final Price – The price for the service, once any additions have been added to the Quotation based on any new information not given at the time the booking was confirmed.
Pre-Booked Bookings – A confirmed booking with a pickup date and time, in the future.
Pre-Authorisation – The holding of funds so they cannot be spent. This applies to pre-booked bookings made with card payment as the method of payment in advance.
Parking Charge – Fees incurred when a driver has to park the vehicle in a pay to park zone.
Drop Off Charge – Fees incurred when the driver has to take the vehicle into a restricted zone.
Flight Number – The identity number of a journey by an Aircraft.
Waiting Time – The time the driver is kept waiting by the customer after the pickup time, additional charges will apply to the final cost of the journey after the free waiting time allowance has passed.
No Show – A situation when the customer has failed to use the booking that has been made.
Run Off – A situation when the customer has completed the journey but has failed or refused to pay.

Making a Booking
- The Customer can confirm the booking with the company by telephone, email or in person.
- The Customer must provide the correct information at the time of booking including pick up date, pick up time, pick up point and drop off point. Contact details of the booker and/or passenger. Additionally for airport pick up, flight details will be needed.
- The booking will be confirmed by SMS text message.
- The customer must inform us of any special requirements at the time of booking i.e. requires child seat, travelling with animals, extra pick up points and/or drop off points.
- We reserve the right to cancel any booking at any point if there is suspicion of illegal activity.

Waiting time
- Each booking has a 10-minute free waiting period unless otherwise pre-arranged.
- Waiting time starts as soon as the driver arrives at the pickup point.
- If the free waiting time is exceeded the final price will be updated, waiting time is charged at £5.00 PER 15 MINUTES and will be added to the quotation that was given at the time the booking was confirmed.

Airport Booking – Airport Bookings are subject to all clauses in these terms and conditions however the following exceptions/additions apply.
- If the pickup point is an airport the driver will park the vehicle in the airport’s short stay carpark.
- If the pick up point is an airport, the customer must provide a correct flight number when making the booking.
- The company will track the flight using an online flight tracker.
- In the event of the flight landing time changing, the company will automatically change the pick up time in accordance.
- The company cannot be held responsible if the online flight tracker does not correspond to real life events including but not limited to delays, early arrival, change of destination airport.
- The parking charges will be added to the quotation to form the final price to pay at the end of the journey, alternatively the passenger can pay these charges directly at the payment terminal in the short stay carpark.
- Parking charges are reflected to the charges of each individual airport.
- If the drop off point is an airport the driver will drop off at the airport drop off zone.
- If the airport charges a drop off charge, this will be added to the quotation to form the final price at the end of the journey.
- The drop off charges are set out below.
- London Heathrow – Drop off fee £5.00 / Pick up – Customer pays Carpark fee. (Subject to change)
- Gatwick – Drop off fee £5.00 / Pick up – Customer pays Carpark fee. (Subject to change)
- Stansted – Drop off fee £7.00 / Pick up – Customer pays Carpark fee. (Subject to change)
- Luton – Drop off fee £5.00 / Pick up – Customer pays Carpark fee. (Subject to change)
These charges are set by the Airports

Cash Payment
- Payments to be paid to the driver at the end of the journey.
- The final price will be charged at the end of the booking
- No paper receipts are available, the passenger can request a digital receipt and must provide an email address in order to receive the receipt.
- The customer is responsible to check any cash change that is given to them before leaving the vehicle.
- If no payment can be made, the booking will be considered a Run Off, the company reserves the right to contact the police.

Card Payment – In Vehicle
- Payment for the booking can be made by Credit or Debit card to the driver at the end of the journey.
- If a card payment has failed or been declined the driver reserves the right to request other methods of payment.
- If no payment is made, or fraudulent payment details are provided the booking will be considered a Run Off. The company reserves the right to contact the police.

Cancelling a booking
- The customer can cancel the booking at any time.
- The company reserves the right to cancel the booking if no contact can be made with the customer using the contact details provided when the booking was confirmed.
- The company reserves the right to cancel a booking after the free waiting time has passed, if not already pre-arranged.

Limitations and Exclusions
- The company will not undertake the carriage of any goods or property of a hazardous, dangerous, flammable, explosive or noxious substance, or are illegal to possess under existing English Law.
- The company will not undertake the carriage of any white goods i.e. Fridge, Freezer, Washing Machine.
